Walton Primo GM4

Walton Primo GM4 is a low price smartphone released by Bangladeshi brand Walton. The smartphone came with almost the same price point as Itel Vision 2s and Samsung Galaxy M02 but good features. The smartphone is loaded with a 5,000mAh big battery and a 2GB storage variant. However, the device is a good performer at a low price.

Design and Display:

The Walton Primo GM4 is built of a Glass front, plastic back Plastic frame. The rear side has a dual camera set up and the front has a selfie camera on the top of the front. The bottom has a charging port and an earphone jack. The right side has a power button and a volume button. Left has a SIM card slot. It will support Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The phone is available in Mirror Black, Ocean Green colors. The phone has a 6.1” IPS display. The Display resolution is 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display aspect ratio is 20:9 ratio. The display has not any refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and (peak) brightness. It is a bezel-less waterdrop notch display. Display colors are 16M display.

Battery and Performance:

This Walton Primo GM4 has a Li-Po 5000mAh, non-removable massive battery. It hasn’t fast charging and reverse charging. The phone will run for one day in normal work. In heavy uses, it will give better back up also. Without a fast charger, the battery will charge for a long time.

The smartphone runs with the Android 10 operating system and is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core processor. It will do work smoothly in normal use. Its CPU is ARM Cortex- A55. Moreover, the performance section is average at budget.

Primary and Selfie Cameras:

The Primo GM4 provides a dual camera set up in the rear panel. The phone has an 8MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera. Camera features are phase detection autofocus, a LED flash, touch to focus, HDR, Panorama.

Its video recording quality is 1080@30 fps. The front has a 5MP selfie sensor. Its video recording capacity is 1080p@30. Users can get good quality photos and videos with this selfie camera and in daylight and low light, it will capture smooth video and work well.

Storage and Connectivity:

The Walton GM4 was released with a single variant. 2GB RAM 16GB internal storage. Only a single variant has this phone. Its storage type is eMMC. You can use a microSDXC (dedicated slot) up to 128 GB.

It is a 4G smartphone. It will support Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). The phone has a 3.5mm audio jack and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, A2DP, LE, MicroUSB 2.0. But has USB Type-C. The smartphone hasn’t any fingerprint sensor.

Walton GM4 price in Bangladesh is 7,499 for the variant of 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The phone is available with one variant in Bangladesh.
