Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max in China on 23 September 2026 and it is looking to be one of the most interesting smartphones that the brand has ever released. The most notable feature is a new privacy display which prevents others nearby from viewing your screen. It also features a second display at the back to help you to view notifications without unlocking the phone.
In the interior, it is powered by Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful chip, which ensures that it runs quickly both for gaming and daily use. The camera is made with Leica, offering better and sharper pictures. Xiaomi has also announced that the phone will be available in other countries soon and its India team has already hinted it is coming to India. According to info, the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max hasn’t officially launched in Bangladesh yet, but the 12GB+512GB variant is expected to cost around BDT 130,000.for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It comes in five different colour versions: Black, White, Ice PeachPink, Starry Blue and Red Transparent edition. The phone is currently for sale in China, but Xiaomi has announced it will be available globally soon.

According to source, it is powered by the 17 Android version powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor based on 2nm process technology for power-saving and accelerated performance. It features 12GB of RAM, 512GB of inbuilt storage, an octa-core processor and Adreno 850 GPU.
It houses a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with QHD resolution (1440×2560) driven by a 144Hz refresh rate while maintaining 4,000 nits (peak brightness) and is covered by Gorilla Glass. It also features a secondary 2.9-inch LTPO AMOLED cover display with 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support and HDR10+ support.
The camera is a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 200MP primary camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus and OIS. It has a front camera with 50MP sensor. Can capture up to 8K video at 30fps.
A big 8,500mAh Li-Ion battery with 100W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging and reverse charging are used to power the device.
The design of the phone is available in 3 colors: Black, Galaxy Blue, White and it has an IP68 rating protection against dust and water. Security features include on screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and face unlock.
