OnePlus launched OnePlus 16 in China on 12 October 2026, and it offers significant improvements over the previous year’s phone. It comes with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor. It also has a 200MP main camera and a much bigger battery than the OnePlus 15.
The same chip will also be used in Motorola Signature 27 and Xiaomi 18 Pro. All three have been so far confirmed for India, but it remains uncertain if the OnePlus 16 will launch in India as well. OnePlus has already said it will not sell this phone in the US or Europe.

The OnePlus 16 is still not released in Bangladesh. The 12GB RAM and 256GB model in China costs CNY 5,999, so the price is expected to be around BDT 100,000 in Bangladesh.This is only an estimate. The OnePlus 16 features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display that has a resolution of 1272 x 2772 pixels (FHD+) and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The refresh rate can reach up to 185fps. The peak brightness is 2,000 nits, as well as HDR10+ is supported. The selfie camera is attached to the back with a punch-hole cut out and protected by Crystal Shield Glass.
The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme, which is based on 2nm process. The phone has a 9,000mAh Li-Ion battery. Supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 5W reverse wired charging. The USB port has been revamped to Type-C 3.2 Gen 1.
