If you want to compare this phone to other phones. Google was 12 Oct 2023 released a new smartphone Pixel 8 in Bangladesh’s Unofficial market.
The Google Pixel 8 is an upcoming smartphone that promises users an exceptional experience with its impressive technical specifications and sleek design. The device is set to be released with a Google Tensor G3 octa-core processor and at least 8 GB of RAM, which should ensure smooth performance even with heavy applications.
Also, the phone is expected to boast an OLED display that delivers vibrant and accurate colors, perfect for media consumption. With new advancements in camera technology and an operating system that is intuitive and user-friendly, the Google Pixel 8 is anticipated to be a game-changer price in Bangladesh.
The new Google Pixel 8 is now available in two configurations. You can get it with either 128GB or 256GB of storage, and both have 8GB of RAM. The price in Bangladesh for the Pixel 8 is 65,000 taka. It’s got a big 4575mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging. The device runs Android 14 and is powered by Google’s Tensor G3 chip, which is built on a 4 nanometer process.

The Pixel 8 design is similar to last year’s Pixel 7. It has a glass back and metal frame like the 7. The cameras and rear mic are in about the same spots too.
The front looks better though. The bottom chin is smaller and the sides are more even all around. The buttons are on the right as before and feel clicky. The SIM slot is on the left. There’s a speaker, USB-C port and mic on the bottom. Plus a third mic on top.
A big new thing is the screen. It’s a 6.2 inch display with high quality and brightness. You can choose 60 or 120 frames per second. 120 is smoother but uses more battery. Outdoor viewing is much better than last year’s model.
The 8 is protected from water with an IP68 rating. You can use it in the rain but I wouldn’t submerge it or take it diving long term.
The Google Pixel 8 has some great camera upgrades. The main rear camera is 50 megapixels, which lets in 21% more light than the Pixel 7. It also uses a feature called Dual Exposure that takes two pictures at different exposures to reduce noise and make photos and videos clearer.
The ultrawide rear camera was upgraded too – it’s now 12 megapixels with autofocus. The field of view is 22% wider at 125.8 degrees compared to the previous model.
The selfie camera is 10.5 megapixels with 1x or 0.7x options for the field of view. Selfies look good in sunlight. You can also get decent low light shots thanks to Night Sight mode. It would have been nice if the front camera had autofocus like the Pro model.
All cameras can record 4K video at 60 frames per second. Video from the main rear camera looks the best. You can shoot at 24fps or 30fps.
The Google Pixel 8 comes with the Tensor G3 chip, which is an improvement over the Pixel 7’s Tensor G2, but you likely won’t notice a performance difference. The Tensor G3 is a 4nm processor with nine cores. It has 8GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM and the Immortalis-G715 MP10 graphics chip. Storage options are 128GB or 256GB.
With Android 14 there are new customization options like different lock screens, clocks, and monochrome themes. Face Unlock is more secure now and works for payments, sign-ins, and banking apps.
Google has committed to 7 years of OS and security updates for the Pixel 8 series.
The Google Pixel 8 has a 4,575mAh battery that lasted about 20 hours in my video playback test. In regular daily use, the phone easily lasted over a full day, but gaming impacted the battery life.
Pixel 8 now supports 27W fast charging. It comes with an 18W Google charger, which takes around 1 hour 45 minutes to fully charge. 38% battery in thirty minutes and 71% charge in one hour.
