Xiaomi has just launched its newest flagship phone in China. The Xiaomi 18 Pro was released on 23rd September 2026 and it has some solid upgrades. This phone is equipped with Leica cameras, Qualcomm’s latest chips and a small second screen on the back which few phones offer. Also, the new privacy screen blocks the view of the display for people nearby, making it handy for everyday use.
The launch isn’t just for China, either. Xiaomi has also announced the 18 Pro series is to be made available in the global market. The news has already been shared by Xiaomi India’s official X account, which suggests that the Indian launch may be imminent. According to info, the Xiaomi 18 Pro launched in Bangladesh at around BDT 110,000 (Expected) for the 12GB+256GB variant. Keep in mind this is not an official price yet, Xiaomi has yet to announce pricing locally, so this final price may move slightly once the phone is actually available here.
It comes in Black, White, Ice Peach Pink and Galaxy Blue, with a special transparent color for those who want something special.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset running at up to 5GHz with HyperOS 4 & Android 17 OS. It has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The display on the front is a 6.4-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with FHD+ 1120×2436 resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz and 4,000 nits peak brightness, which is covered by Dragon Crystal Glass 3. It also features a 2.7-inch AMOLED display behind it, which supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
The camera setup in the phone features a 200MP sensor with an f/1.67 aperture, a 200MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and the 50MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a periscope telephoto. At the front is a 50MP selfie camera. Video is up to 8K/30fps.
It comes with a 7000mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging and reverse charging. It has USB Type-C 3.2 and Display Port support for storage.
As for connectivity features, the phone has 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and dual SIM (Nano+Nano). Security is through on-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and face unlock.
In terms of build, the Xiaomi 18 Pro has a polycarbonate back, IP68 water resistance (up to 4 meters for 30 minutes), and is available in Black, Galaxy Blue, and White colors.
