Samsung Galaxy S24 Price in Bangladesh
The Samsung Galaxy S24 price in Bangladesh is 78,000 taka. It has a 6.2 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The camera setup includes a 50 megapixel main camera, a 10 megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12 megapixel ultrawide. Selfies are taken with the 12 megapixel front camera. Powering everything is a 4000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Design
The Galaxy S24 is looking pretty similar to last year’s S23 overall, but with some key differences. First off, it’s got that flat, squared off frame now like the latest iPhone, rather than the rounded edges of before. Sure, it does seem like Samsung may have copied Apple a bit there – but hey, it looks pretty sleek.
The front and back are using that tough Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which should hold up well against drops and scratches. It’s still got that nice matte finish on the back too, so no issues with fingerprints. Only thing is, I found it felt a little slippery in the hand. Definitely recommend a good case to help grip it better.
As for colors, the review unit I checked out was a light gray called “Marble Gray.” Not my personal favorite shade honestly. The S24 comes in black, purple and yellow as the standard options too. Then there’s also some Samsung exclusive colors like green, blue and orange only available directly from them. Most of the shades seem a little dull if you ask me. The vibrant purple and orange really stood out to me as the best options for some extra pop.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Cameras
The new Samsung Galaxy S24 hardware is pretty much the same as last year – you’ve got a 50 megapixel main camera, 10 megapixel telephoto with 3x zoom, and a 12 megapixel ultrawide. Selfies are still handled by a 12MP front facing camera.
One thing that always bothered me about Samsung phones in the past was how colorful the pictures looked. Don’t get me wrong, the cameras were great but the colors seemed a little too vibrant, if that makes sense. It just didn’t feel realistic, you know? This time around though, I’m really liking what I’m seeing. The colors are still bright but they look way more natural.
I’ve taken some photos to test things out and they’re really impressive. All the details are super sharp and clear. Even close ups have been great quality. And get this – the skin tones in my selfies actually look normal now! No more orange faces. It also captures shots really fast which is nice when you’re trying to get a shot of something moving.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Display
The S24 now uses LTPO AMOLED which is more power efficient for the always-on display. With LTPO, the refresh rate can go as low as 1Hz when idle compared to only 24Hz on the S23.
A few other display differences – the S24 screen is now 6.2 inches compared to 6.1 inches last year. This makes the phone just a tad taller and narrower than the S23. At first I was worried the size change would be noticeable but after using it this past week, it’s really negligible.
The 6.2-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED hits up to 120Hz refresh with an impressive 2,600 nits of peak brightness. For reference, the S23 maxed out at 1,750 nits. Resolution is 1080 x 2340 with a 416 PPI density. Oddly the PPI is slightly lower than the S23 but again, it’s negligible in daily use.
I found the S24 display to be really bright and vivid even with Natural mode on. Colors just pop and blacks look rich and deep. Text looks super crisp too. I also love that it can hit 2,600 nits outdoors – even brighter than my iPhone 15 Pro. Scrolling and transitions feel buttery smooth thanks to the adaptive 120Hz refresh.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Software & Performance
The new Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which is optimized specifically for Galaxy devices. This means the phones should be super fast and efficient.
The base Galaxy S24 runs on Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI on top. It’s got 8GB of RAM and you can choose between 128GB or 256GB of storage. Even though the bigger S24 Plus and S24 Ultra have more RAM at 12GB, the base S24 still feels really smooth for most tasks.
Performance-wise, the Galaxy S24 stayed pretty cool. It didn’t get too hot even when browsing or checking social media. The only time I noticed it started to warm up a bit was when I was out taking a ton of photos in a row. But it was never uncomfortably hot to hold, even in those situations.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Battery & Charger
The Galaxy S24 has a 4,000 mAh battery. That’s just a tiny bit more than the 3,900 mAh in the previous model. Now, don’t let the small size fool you – this thing will last you a good long while thanks to that efficient Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The charging speed tops out at 25W, which is on par with the iPhone 15. I wish it was faster like the S24 Plus and Ultra, which go up to 45W. That said, you’ll have to supply your own charger – all you get in the box is a USB-C cable.
It’s a little surprising they didn’t upgrade to the new Qi2 wireless standard. That would have made wireless charging even easier with magnetic snapping. As it is, it’s still 15W max, which isn’t lighting fast compared to something like the OnePlus 12 and its 50W wireless charging. You do get reverse wireless charging too, but that’s capped at 4.5W.
